How to take care of your wavy hair at home
There is no secret: wavy hair needs a shampoo that cleans but also has moisturizing action to prevent dryness. You just have to be careful that the moisturizing ingredients do not weigh too much, as this can get in the way of finishing - all with great balance, beauty?
Here's the tip: the shampoos Oh! So Clean and Coco Wash are amazing for this step and were created with the intention of moisturizing without weighing in mind
- Second step: when combing
Give preference to a fork comb or your fingers when combing the strands. This slows down the break and makes it easier to loosen the root to make it bulkier by shaking it. Oh, and try to untangle from the bottom up! For more in-depth ideas, go Kalista Salon blog and know further.
There are typically two types of finish: leave-in cream or gel / gelatin. Which one to choose depends on your preference and the type of look you want to achieve! The tip here is not to overdo these products.
If you are going to use the Butter Crème leave-in, it is best to apply a small amount to the locks and then dry them with a diffuser. With it, you can even make a dedoliss to make the waves more defined.
If you prefer, you can choose the Curl Boss gel: apply a little and knead the strands to let them dry naturally. The second option will give you a more beachy waves look! But it is important to always choose one product or the other, never both at the same time.
To make your hair looser and clean-looking, you can use dry shampoo or talcum powder (in moderation, of course). Also, I recommend sleeping in pineapple bun the night before to better preserve the waves.
And if everything fails - sometimes our hair has other ideas - you can always count on a good hairstyle, right?
